The Ideal Candidate
- Must have – A Degree in Accountancy or Finance;
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Chief Accountant and at least 10 years overall experience in accounting RAS;
- Fluent in English;
- Very good Knowledge of Romanian Financial legislation;
- Certified in Romanian Accounting;
- Located in Bucharest (able and willing to come to the office);
- Able to use the Google Pack tools.
Job Description
- Month-end journals for Group subsidiaries, responsible for supervising day-to-day and monthly/annual accounting functions;
- In charge of closing the end ︁︀︂︃︃︈︃︀month and trial balance;
- Production of all fiscal returns/BNR reporting/Financial statements according to Romanian Regulation;
- Assist the Financial Director with monthly financial analyses and statutory accounts;
- Supervise and train the accounting team;
- Initiate new ideas and ways of improving financial accounting reporting;
- Ad-hoc financial analysis requested by the Financial Director and Board.
